Disclaimer: This post is extremely uninteresting (so as for the many other posts in my archives). But recent events in my life and recent times have 'fueled' and 'motivated' me to post about this subject. So do yourself a favour and stop reading on, if you think ur gona be bored; 'Cause it probably wouldnt relate to any of you anyway. lol.
Recent events in my life have led me to think that people are losing their sanity to money. Well, it seems so at least for some people i know.
It would seem as though people have forgotten what is truely important - satisfaction. For example, some people are just so obsessed with gathering this valueble 'money' into their hands, to the extend where they restrict nearly all forms of spending .. even if it would mean spending money for a good family dinner, a good outing, or for a good time out; Spending, for the greater good.
The hunger and greed for money is indeed a diablolical subject. And people consumed by this greed, are often blinded by the havens and importance of their marriages / relationships / friendships / kinship .. and love. Maybe these people ought to be slapped in their ugly faces, to be awakened from their comma.

THE GYM.
It's been 3 years since I've started lifting iron bars and doing crunches at the gym near my house. And not once during my time at the gym, have i seen so many JJcians so often before. Seeing these "familiar strangers" has become routine for me, with each visit to the gym.
I visit the gym 'cause its an avenue for me to get in touch with myself, reflect on current happenings, etc ... And it feels kinda awkward when you visit the gym with that kind of mindset, only to see familiar people all around you. lol..
Alright, i shall stop trying to elaborate on what I'm trying to put across here, but you get the idea. =3. Anyway, I've been chomping down on lots of food, throughout the entire day, everyday! Lucky for me, i dont feel guilty cause i've been RUNNING, and RUNNING, and RUNNING!
Had badminton with PC, Simon and gaylion on tuesday, and again this morning without gaylion. OH man it was fun. And as i'm typing this post out, my body itches from dried sweat, from my 4km run flash moments ago.

gym > cardio > food > sleep > maths (-.-)
This is the routine I seem to have adopted recently. I'm recovering really well from my 1 week ordeal with food poisoning last month > I officially stand at 54.5kg which is a big difference from 51.3kg just 3 weeks ago. But thats 3kg in 3 weeks. kinda scary huh .
Also, this holidays sucks for many reasons
Also, this holidays sucks for many reasons
- Arena is closed till dec.
- I'm deprived from soccer.
- I miss my class.
- Lack of motivation to study (holiday leh, knn!!)
- Computer spoil. -.- ... (I'm typing this out from my mum's laptop.)
Sooo, I'm kinda deprived from all my fav. activities this holidays - soccer , pool , computer games. This holiday officially sucks for me =x.

Oh, yes. It was my first time being K.O.ed on saturday in a sparring session. I'm going to buy a groin guard. Definitely. I .. must .. T.T

character.
This post is heavy on character talk.
Had street soccer today, and it surely reignited my appreciation for the beautiful game.
Joga bonito ! Play beautiful !
Soccer is really a game about teamwork, trust and sportsmanship. So many other things in life are about these exact same values. Sometimes, the way people play soccer tells you alot about his/her character too.
This leads me to my next point really.
The ability to think calmly and make good decisions under pressure, is something I've been subjected to alot recently. And its been taking alot out of me recently.

Alright enough moral talk. I've been feeling really motivated with physical conditioning recently! I've been switching between cardio exercises and resistance exercises these few days. Most importantly, my nutrition. I've switched to having small meals throughout the day, instead of 3 big meals. This style of nutrition helps me for a variety of reasons i wont explain here, cause it'll be boring to read a bio lecture on my blog wouldn't it? LOL.
Lately I've been kicking nearly everything i have at home. Boxes, chairs, pillars, tables, the sofa, the bed, the fridge, anything that's large enough, I'll kick. I've been doing lots of shadow boxing and turning kicks too. All in a day's effort to improve my game. The people in my house probably think I'm crazy by now. But heck, I'll keep doing it anyway cause this holiday is the best chance, reason, and opportunity to improve my game.

Legs in my shorts, out and about!
My legs in my shorts, I've been running, swimming, and soaking the sun ever since i stopped vomitting! But my stamina has dropped, and my pull up count is EXTREMELY pathetic. I can only do a freaking 7 pull ups at my best form now. I used to do no less than 15 in each attempt. This kinda sucks, but i'll retrain!
Oh yesssssssss, OP today was a blast, 'cause the acessor asked the same question Miss Ong did during the OP rehersals. MISS ONG, YOU ROX MY WORLD LOL................. So the QnA was rather okay, but i stumbled abit during my presentation as well, but i guess thats okay, cause it wasnt very significant.
Anyway, recent Taekwondo trainings have been rather enjoyable really. We've been doing a hell lot more sparring than before, and I'm beginning to like it actually. Being a practitioner of martial arts such as Muay Thai and Taekwondo only this year, the idea of fighting isn't really something that I'm too familiar or comfortable with. I used to dread sparring sessions in muay thai classes, although i picked up Muay Thai to learn how to fight, which is quite an irony isnt it? LOL
Maybe you'll understand when you know that, my opponents were in the 60 - 70 kg weight class, cause there wasnt another 55kg guy in the same class as me :[ . and they were usually hairy adult men, like 20 + year old guys. lol
But I'm beginning to enjoy the adrenaline rush that comes with a fight! I guess i'll just need to keep practicing to integrate and get used to sparring sessions! [Although i still kinda suck at fighting,
With my coach, Bia (fight name) who is a professional fighter with quite an impressive fight record of over 80 fights in his life!
Well, its a pity I've stopped Muay thai for quite awhile already. I'll definitely continue Muay Thai after my alvls. DEFINITELY. For now, its taekwondo for me! Its a pity i dont have pictures of Taekwondo trainings to post here. I'll post some next time!

The dude in the center background, BERT (his fight name). Hes a pro Muay Thai fighter from Thailand and has had over a 100 professional fights! He's even done international fights in London! HOLY shit huh? He'll beat the balls out you, seriously. Hes my coach's brother. And they kinda own, considering fighting is actually their profession. lol.
