Mileage - 6.778km / 4.211 miles
Time - 43 minutes

Total mileage this month - 29.974 km / 18.988 miles

Unsatisfied with the way i had spent this horrible day, i put all my legs in my shorts, and headed for a short jog, determined to exceed the 30km mileage barrier for this month. And as u can see, it looks like i missed it by 30metres. what the heck.

I set off at 8pm, and the sky had already darkened. The route was the usual, but the scene was the un-usual. By the time i had reached arena, the sky was pitch blackened, lit only by the orange road lamps. I don't know if its my paranoia, but the long stretch of road was dam freaking foggy today, which was extremely unusual for a day with a warm afternoon such as today. The combination of - the empty long road - the pitch blackened sky - the unusually foggy path - made me cheat on my jog today. I don't wana bring any 'johns' home with me. I made a U-turn for home as soon as i passed Arena, skipping the Discovery Centre loop, which cost me around 300m or 500m of mileage, and not to mention my 30km mileage barrier for this month. SHIT.

Anyway, today's tkd training saw its first serious casualty in a long time. Shan't say further. Hope nothings wrong though. hahah. HUAT AH! I gotta go rest my tired legs.

The doctor

Mileage - 0
Time - 0

=(

I've been struggling to strike a balance between running and homework, and i guess that's recently taken its toll on me =(

I'm down on my 3rd day of flu, and developing a cough. So i took a breather today and skipped school. I decided to go to the doctor to get some medicine. But i had to get my personal medicine first at Arena. HAHA, yes. Pool with gay Isa and gay Zhi Wei. Though my highlight only begun when we were finishing our session. what a waste, sigh lol.

The old doctor asked me a random question today.

"So, do you want to be a doctor?"

I thought he was reading my mind.
"Yes, how did u know?" i asked him

"I merely asked" he replied.
WHAT A DOCTOR huh? Just the tinge of inspiration i needed.

Mileage : 12.519 km / 7.77miles
Time : 1 hour 17 minutes

Total Mileage this month : 23.196 km / 14.777 miles

I took a brutally breathtaking jog today. I went two rounds pass Arena Country Club to the Discovery Center today. It was my first time doing 2 'laps'.

The run started off horribly. About 7minutes into the run, i accidentally pulled on the wire cord of my nike+ earphones, robbing me of my music after only 7minutes. I tried my best twitching and turning the wires at the base, but gave up after awhile, convinced it was useless to try further. I clinged the earphones onto my neck (they're behind the ears 'cling' kinda earphones) and continued my run, much to the dislike of running without music.

My knees and quads started to burn out after 15 minutes into the jog, when i commenced my first turn into a straight long path down to the Discovery Center. I tried running slower , didnt work. I tried running with bigger steps , didnt work. HECK , i just ran.

The burns bothered me until i made my 2nd lap. I was sweating jugs of water out by then, and my burns probably sweated away with it.

Thats all. gotta go !

First day of school

Mileage - 1.6km -.-
Time - maybe 10 minutes -.-

today's jog was a pathetic 4 rounds around the track. Had been looking forward to something much better, oh well -.-.

I got caught first thing in the morning for my approximately 1 or 2 cm long sideburns. "WTF" was the reaction in my head. "This must be a joke", the immediate next thought to zoom pass my mind. I just got my haircut 2 days ago. I wonder what the definition of having a 'short haircut' really means in JJ. What a great way to start my first day of school =.=.

Well, thats all. Gotta work on volumes of
undone holiday homework,
and the upcoming tests,
and the assignment,
and do some revision.
(just kidding, I'm not gona do it all obviously.)

I've been planning my jog routes on google maps. And I've only recently discovered the "distance measurement tool" on the website. So for today's run,

Mileage : 9.07km / 6.01miles
Time : 56minutes

I must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed today.

It was one of those "Tomorrow sucks" kind of mornings, where you wake up, and you simply can't gasp the optimism to do anything. That was my morning. I dragged myself into the swimming pool to take my mind off things for a temporary 3 hours. And guess who i met on my way out. Astro-Boy! Yeah, you guessed it. I met Mr Tan !!! of all the places. And he was with his girlfriend too. Awestruck.

Its back to reality tomorrow, somehow I'm not looking forward to it, yet delighted to be back to school.

CRAZY

Crazily hot. thats what the models on Victoria's Secret Fashion Show was. Darn hot. *splash ice water over my head*

Caught a glimpse of some ranking matches at Arena after finishing my time with chemistry at Burger Kings today. sweet.

Gotta say, I'm slowly but surely picking up the tempo. Though, I'm well aware that i only have 3 days left to finish revising for my J1 syallubus. Shit. Someone like muggers like Gideon and secret muggers like Simon probably have entire textbooks in their armory. I've only got chunks of chapters of chemistry and bio in mine. Gotta pick up the pace baby.

- Random stuff -

In 2005, Adrian Mok, an endurance athlete, ran an Ultramarathon of 168km. Adrian completed the race in a little more than 24 hours. - Adidas sundown website.

I just watched the news, and it seems like some Aviva Ironman participant is gonna run do a super 217km run in Africa this February. THAT IS INSANE i tell you. I reckon it would take around 30 - 35 hours of non-stop running to complete that distance. Whats' crazier is his training routine. This 55 year old dude runs 40km and 80km every alternate weekend as training for his run. THAT IS INSANE. I wonder, how the hell does his knees hold up to that kind of mileage training ?! Salutations to this crazy guy. Someone truely fit to be called a humanoid IronMan (irony isnt it).
